Residents & Halls

Click on the Residencies & Halls tab.

Residencies & Halls tab has two(2) different display fields. 

A. Residencies: This is where students’ resident information is configured.

To add a new resident click on the Add Residency button. The resident modal has the following fields;

  • Type: Select one of the following:
    • Resident: Select this if the student lives in a hall or any official resident by the institution. eg. ITC Hall.
    • Non-Resident: Select this if the student lives in other places aside from the official resident. eg. White House.
  • Location: Input the name and any other information about the Resident or Non-Resident.

Click on Save to confirm actions.

For each added Resident, the user can Edit and Delete them.

To Edit the resident, click on the Edit button icon.

Change the old entries from the Residencies form and click on the Save button.

To Delete the resident, click on the Delete button icon.

Click on the Delete Resident button from the modal popup to confirm your actions.

B. Halls: This is the hall the selected student is affiliated to.

To add a new affiliated hall to OSIS, click on the Add Hall button. The modal for Hall has the following fields;

  • Type: This is a dropdown showing all Halls available in OSIS. This is populated from Manage Halls
  • Location: the location of the hall. This loads automatically.   
  • Address: the hall address. This loads automatically.   

Click on Save Changes to confirm actions.

For each added Hall affiliation, the user can Edit and Delete them.

To Edit an affiliated Hall, click on the Edit button icon.

Change the old entries from the Hall form and click on the Save button.

To Delete an affiliated Hall, click on the Delete button icon.

Click on the Delete Hall button from the modal popup to confirm your actions.
