Guardian

Click on the Guardian tab to view and manage the applicant’s guardian or emergency contact information.

Each guardian entry is displayed in a bordered card format that includes:

  • The relationship type (e.g., Father, Mother, Uncle) as the card title
  • The name of the guardian
  • The phone number
  • Optional fields: email, address, and occupation
  • An Edit button to update the guardian details

To add a new guardian, click the Add Guardian button in the top-right corner. This opens the input form shown below:

The form requires the following fields:

  • Name: Full name of the guardian
  • Type: Selected from a predefined list (see below)
  • Address (optional)
  • Mobile: Contact number
  • Email (optional)
  • Occupation (optional)

The Type field presents a dropdown menu of options:

  • Father
  • Mother
  • Uncle
  • Aunt
  • Relative
  • Next of Kin

To update an existing guardian record, click the Edit button next to the entry. This opens a pre-filled version of the same form, as shown below:

Make any necessary changes, then click Save Changes to apply updates or Close to cancel the operation.
